Edward Luttrell
Edward’s early life was punctuated by formative experiences in music, philosophy, literature and theatre. An innate fascination for these things led him to a life-long interest in people and how they engage with their lives, their work and their dreams.
Ed’s first ten years of working life was as a secondary school Head of Music and Drama. Evolving his passion for people development, he then found a natural home as a performance coach and has been helping individuals and businesses unleash their potential for over 16 years now.
Central to Ed’s portfolio of performance improvement tools is coaching. He is passionate about the credibility of professional coaching and is an active member of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council and the Association for Coaching. Ed is a strong advocate of demonstrating real evidence that coaching works and that improved outcomes can be measured against clear expectations and aims; clients see tangible evidence of positive change from Ed’s work and their improved performance is seen in increased personal efficiency, high levels of motivation & engagement and the achievement of targets and goals.
Ed’s work has drawn him into the wider fields of training, consultancy and organisational development. As such, Ed engages with businesses and individuals in an open-minded, creative and dynamic way, recognising that better performance arises from a number of factors including increased self-awareness, personal efficiency, organisational change, operational planning and effective leadership. As such, Ed has helped set up and deliver training programmes, behavioural competency frameworks, CPD Planning processes, coaching cultures & practices and mentoring schemes. He has also worked at executive level, coaching top management across a variety of environments to help them set and achieve meaningful goals, create motivation, purpose and vision for their futures, turn problems into opportunities for congruent change and to support them in their longer-term aims.
Ed has a degree in Music & a PGCE, is a Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, holds Diplomas in Performance Coaching, ILM Level 7 Executive Coaching & Leadership Mentoring, Certified Trainer of NLP, certificated in Paradox & Tension Management (ILM), and is working towards an MA in NLP & Coaching. Ed is also an active member of Investors in People and sits on the ER Board for the East of England. Ed continues to find enjoyment in playing ‘cello, singing and conducting orchestras and choirs. He has also been practising the compassionate art of Aikido for over 25 years and is a Reiki Practitioner.

Meryl Bushell
Meryl spent many years in the telecommunications industry and since 2007 has been focusing on sharing her expertise and knowledge through consultancy and coaching. She specialises in senior executive coaching and procurement leadership.
Meryl led the procurement, supply chain and property functions at BT plc for seven years and was responsible for an annual spend budget of £7bn. Prior to this role she was responsible for Customer Services, managing 13000 field engineers providing communication services to residential and business customers. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, and sits on the board of management of the Institute.
Meryl was a member of the UK Government Taskforce for Sustainable Procurement and was named as a “Superstar” of Procurement by Supply Management magazine. She regularly speaks at events and conferences on leadership topics and is a frequent contributor of articles to various magazines and journals. Meryl is a non-executive director of James Latham plc and of Supplierforce. Meryl first trained as a coach in 1998 with Senn Delaney and since then has gained extensive coaching and mentoring experience. In 2009 she completed the Tavistock Institute’s certified Coaching for Leadership and Professional Development programme. She is currently undertaking a part time MSc at Birkbeck College, University of London in Organisational Behaviour. Meryl is married with two sons and lives in South London. In her spare time Meryl enjoys singing in a choir, travel and gourmet wining and dining.

Martin Webb
Martin is a Procurement Director and strategic consultant with a strong track record of leadership in purchasing, supply chain and major business change programmes. His experience includes both public and private sectors and key areas of interest include strategic purchasing implementation and relationship management.
A past member of the Management Board of CIPS and current chairman of CIPS Pension Scheme Trustees, Martin is currently focusing on coaching and consultancy, working with selected client partners to enhance their performance in buyer:seller relationships (amongst other areas) and helping organisations create winning propositions from effective collaboration.
Martin has an enviable track record of facilitating and managing change across numerous private and public sector organisations, latterly within the heart of central government procurement functions. His diplomacy is matched by his rigorous and disciplined approach, focusing on desired outcomes whilst remaining sensitive to how people are affected by change. Martin has a remarkable ability to not only educate, but also to engage and motivate people to achieve their goals.

Sandra Evans
Sandra is a specialist in Talent, Careers and Change Management. A
highly skilled facilitator and
qualified executive coach, she blends an intuitive approach with her depth of knowledge and experience to
support her clients in achieving their goals. Passionate about
providing pragmatic and practical solutions that enable individuals at
all levels, Sandra seeks to support lasting changes within both their
personal and work lives. Highly knowledgeable, she works with an
empathetic approach encouraging clients to challenge their perceptions
and realise their potential.Sandra is recognised for her thought leadership and creative approach to providing solutions. Business focused, she is aware of the need to balance strategic objectives with the needs of individuals. Her strong business experience was developed Barclays Bank in particular within the retail banking and operations sectors latterly in transition and change leadership roles. Having spent over 20 years working on major projects focusing on both business and behavioural change, she successfully moved into consultancy in 2002.

Julie Blunt
Julie has over 15 years commercial experience in a range of industries, including telecoms, utilities, manufacturing, logistics and financial services. Now working as an Executive Coach and Development Consultant, Julie provides coaching and training in leadership, career management, team and personal effectiveness. Julie′s clients have included Shell, British Telecom, Revenue and Customs, NHS, BAE Systems, AXA and the Highways Agency, to name a few.
Julie′s many qualifications include a Diploma in Corporate Coaching (Distinction achieved),Master NLP practitioner, Level B in Occupational Testing, Certification in SHL and Myers Briggs psychometric instruments, Certificate in Personal Performance Coaching, Associate Membership of CIPD, ITD Core Competency Trainer Certificate, Honours Degree in Studies in the Humanities; Julie is also trained in Transactional Analysis for Trainers, Acting Techniques (London Centre for Theatre Studies), Accelerated Learning and Leadership Mentoring.
Julie uses her extensive acting experience to support development
activities as a role player and forum theatre practitioner. She has appeared in a wide range of theatrical productions, broadening her communication skills, creativity and insight into human behaviour. Juile has also undertaken voiceover work for corporate videos.
Julie is an experienced Executive Coach and has worked with a range of clients. Her coaching has addressed a wide range of needs including as part of large-scale change initiatives, to support career and talent management programmes and as part of outplacement programmes.
Julie has accrued significant experience providing coaching for individual clients, specialising in career transition. She also delivers courses to train managers in coaching skills. Julie is currently one of only 40 licensed trainers worldwide for the Coaching Academy, the foremost coaching organisation in Europe. As well as expertise in training needs analysis, support on developing training functions and project management, Julie′s training modules have included: personal effectiveness, management skills, change management, performance appraisal, recruitment and selection, presentation skills, time management and team building.
Julie, like all of us at Blue Bamboo, is passionate about her own development and use current training methodologies and ′cutting edge′ best practice to develop and deliver high impact training. Her style creates a positive learning environment, whilst being pragmatic and results focussed. Julie is equally sensitised to the need for high quality evaluations of the success of learning interventions against business aims.
She has also developed bespoke competency frameworks for a number of organisations. Recent work has included the design and implementation of a global competence and training framework on behalf of Shell Global Credit. Julie designed and implemented a series of development centres for the Finance function within Cable & Wireless to support an internal talent management programme and similar work within HMRC.

Phillippa Mole
Phillippa has made the study of human performance her lifetimes work. She holds a BA and MSc. Degree, is a Master Practitioner and certified trainer of NLP with specialist certification on the field of coaching, Practioner in Neuro Hypnotic Reprogramming and Master Practitioner in Time Line.
Throughout her life she has watched “what makes things happen” and how people get the results they want. She is continually testing theories and techniques and pushing boundaries to find new ways to develop and share her experiences.
Phillippa studied Human Performance in sport, dance and art at St. John’s College York and then Performance Psychology at Loughborough University. Putting the theory into practice, along with a lot of training, she competed at Sprint hurdles for the South of England and for Great Britain in Bobsleigh.
After lecturing in Sport Psychology and Coaching at Manchester Metropolitan University, and writing for the Sunday Telegraph she made the jump into full time broadcasting. Presenting network television for GMTV and the BBC gave Phillippa another arena in which to study how people become high achievers in this very competitive field.
Phillippa is continually updating her knowledge by attending conferences and Master classes with the best trainers in the world.
She has been described by others as fun loving, committed and able to cope in a crisis; she describes herself as curious, creative and tenacious.
Phillippa has helped many of her corporate teams to win substantial contracts, recently facilitating a successful bid for a client for a £750 million project.
Phillippa′s intuitive and empathetic approach is complemented by rigorous coaching and training disciplines. Her keen eye for evaluating the most effective ′next step′ for her clients has led to a reputation for achieving results way beyond the expectations of her clients. Tracy Ashton
Tracy is a passionate and enthusiastic developer of people; she cares about the results she achieves for others and consistently delivers. With 25 years recruitment experience Tracy has developed into a dynamic and intuitive trainer of the industry, offering a wealth of knowledge at Consultant, Manager and Director level.
She has been responsible for securing/managing a number of large accounts, including Reuters, NHS, Skandia Group, Centrica and British American Tobacco.
Her first management role in the early 1990’s saw her embark on an ailing recruitment business in the South West of England with the remit to reverse month on month losses into a profitable operation. It went on to grow into the largest office of the business and led to her promotion to Regional Director.
Finding her training feet outside of corporate and operational life, she began freelance training on behalf of a recruitment training organisation, delivering their pre-designed courses. Today she continues to service the recruitment industry working with Times Top 100 companies and niche sector SME’s.
Tracy′s client base has now diversified through recommendation, providing sales, leadership and management programmes outside of the industry, which includes accredited programmes with ILM and CMI. She specialises in bespoke course design and delivery, working to a clear remit of learning objectives in alignment with the business strategy.
As an NLP Practitioner and business coach, she incorporates a blended learning approach to training programmes, A combination of skill based learning and personal development tackling motivation, mindset and other inhibitors of optimum performance. Tracy is a Member of IBPDA.
Tracy has been a significant contributor to the development of Blue Bamboo′s proposition to the recruitment sector. She has also played a major role in shaping Blue Bamboo′s products and services within Leadership and Organisational Development, Performance Coaching and a range of benchmarking and assessment tools.
